In complete opposition to this situation is the philosophy of Berti Knives, which produces exclusive knives for various uses. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop seems to be entirely detached from the trends that have dominated the world throughout its history. Its core value is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these skilled artisans.

The owners strongly oppose the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered products. Therefore, their company's philosophy places a special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any changes. Changes are very welcome, provided they introduce elements that do not conflict with the current vision and can withstand many years of quality testing.

Unlike others, the various stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized artisan sections but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, while handles are made, among others, from bison, buffalo, or deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.

The brand owners suggest that, although intended for everyday use, their products should be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their durability for many years. Each one is, after all, a small, unique work of art.
