Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop appears to be entirely independent of the trends that have dominated the industry over the years. Its most important value is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these skilled artisans.

The founders of the brand strongly reject the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of the identity of their knives. For this reason, their manufacturing philosophy places great emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that the Italian family is closed to change. Changes are highly welcomed, provided they introduce elements consistent with the existing vision and can withstand years of quality testing.

Unlike others, the individual stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized groups of workers but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
High-quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, and handles are crafted from buffalo, bison, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.

The brand owners suggest that, although their knives are designed for everyday use, they should be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their longevity. Each one is a small, unique artifact.
