However, the philosophy of Berti Knives, a manufacturer of exceptional knives for various uses, is different. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small workshop seems to be completely detached from the trends that have taken place worldwide over the years. Its most important value is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these Italian artisans.
The owners firmly reject the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered products. For this reason, their company's philosophy emphasizes the importance of the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are very welcome, provided they introduce elements consistent with their current philosophy and can withstand years of quality testing.
Unlike others, the individual stages of knife production are not handled by specialized groups of workers, but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, and handles include bison, buffalo, deer horns, as well as 'bosso' wood.
