Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop seems entirely detached from the trends that have dominated the world over the years. Its most important value is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.
The owners firmly reject the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to a loss of identity in the products. Therefore, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed staff. This does not mean, however, that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are very welcome, provided they bring elements consistent with the existing idea and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized sections of artisans but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
High-quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, while handles are made from materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, and 'bosso' wood.
