Description
The unusual blade of this pocket knife will impress everyone.
We live in times associated with increased consumption. As a result, the objects we use daily hold no value other than their utility for us. Each year, we often part with the sentiment they deserve, replacing them with newer models.
The philosophy of Berti Knives, a company producing exceptional knives for various purposes, is different. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this family workshop seems to be entirely independent of the trends that have dominated the world throughout its history. Its most important value is fidelity to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of these Italian artisans.
The owners strongly reject the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered products. Therefore, their company's work philosophy places special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any innovations. They are very welcome, provided they do not conflict with the existing philosophy and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike others, the various stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized sections of workers but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, and handles are, among others, made from bison, buffalo, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.
The owners encourage that their products, although intended for everyday use, be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their durability for many years. Each of them is a small, unique artifact.
