Description

This is a fully functional miniature of the popular "Garbusa" in Italy – a traditional craft from the Loreto Aprutino municipality.

The times we live in are marked by increased consumption. As a result, the objects we use daily hold no value for us beyond their utility. Over the years, we often shed the sentimentality they deserve, replacing them with newer models.

Contrary to this trend, the philosophy of Berti Knives stands out, producing exceptional knives for various uses. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop appears to be entirely independent of the trends that have dominated the global market over the years. Its core principle is fidelity to tradition, which is now maintained by the fourth generation of Italian artisans.

The founders firmly reject the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity in their products. Therefore, their manufacturing philosophy places a strong emphasis on the skilled personnel. However, this Italian family is not closed to innovations. They are very welcome, provided they do not conflict with their traditional approach and can withstand long-term quality tests.

Unlike others, the various stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized groups of artisans but are performed from start to finish by the same individual. This practice makes each blade completely unique.
High-quality materials are used in production – blades are made from steel, and handles include materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, and 'bosso' wood.

The owners encourage that their products, although designed for everyday use, be treated with respect, which guarantees their durability for many years. Each piece is a small, unique artifact.
