The philosophy of Berti Knives, a manufacturer of exclusive knives for various uses, is different. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small workshop appears to be completely independent of the trends that have taken place worldwide over the years. Its most important value is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.
The founders of the brand strongly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered products. Therefore, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any changes. Changes are very welcome, provided they bring elements consistent with the existing philosophy and can withstand years of quality testing.
Unlike others, the individual stages of knife production are not handled by specialized groups of workers but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
High-quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, while handles are made, among others, from bison, buffalo, deer horns, as well as 'bosso' wood.
