In complete opposition to this state of affairs is the philosophy of Berti Knives, a company producing exceptional knives for various uses. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory appears to be entirely autonomous from the trends that have dominated the world over the years. Its core value is fidelity to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.

The owners strongly deny the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity in the products made. Therefore, their company's philosophy places a special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any changes. They are very welcome, provided that these bring elements consistent with their current vision and can withstand many years of quality testing.

Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized sections of artisans but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
Only the highest quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, while handles are made from materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, and 'bosso' wood.

The brand owners suggest that, although their products are intended for everyday use, they should be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their longevity. Each one is, after all, a small, unique work of art.
