However, the philosophy of Berti Knives, a manufacturer of exclusive knives for various purposes, is different. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop seems to be completely detached from the trends that have dominated the world throughout its history. Its most important value is fidelity to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.

The owners strongly reject the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would cause the loss of identity of the offered knives. Therefore, their company's philosophy places a special emphasis on the employed staff. This does not mean, however, that this Italian family is closed to any changes. Changes are very welcome, provided they do not conflict with the current vision and can withstand decades of quality tests.

Unlike others, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized groups of artisans, but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials – blades are made of steel, and handles include materials such as buffalo horns, bison horns, deer antlers, as well as 'bosso' wood.

The brand owners suggest that, although their products are intended for everyday use, they should be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their durability for many years. Each one is, after all, a small, unique work of art.
