A wonderful Calabrese spring pocket knife by Berti Knives

The owners strongly reject the idea of mass production by random labor forces, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of their products. Therefore, their company's philosophy places great emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any innovations. They are very welcome, provided they do not conflict with the existing philosophy and can withstand long-term quality tests.

Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife production are not carried out by specialized groups of artisans, but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, and handles include materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, as well as 'bosso' wood.

The brand owners encourage that their products, although intended for everyday use, be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their durability for many years. Each one is, after all, a small, unique artifact.
