Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop appears to be completely independent of the trends that have influenced the industry over the years. Its most important value is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of skilled artisans.
The founders strongly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor forces, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity in the products. For this reason, their company's philosophy emphasizes the importance of the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are very welcome, provided they do not conflict with the existing vision and can withstand years of quality testing.
Unlike competitors, the production stages of each knife are not carried out by specialized groups of artisans but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
High-quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, while handles are crafted from materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, or 'bosso' wood.
