Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family-owned workshop appears to be entirely independent of the trends that have influenced the global market over the years. Its most important value is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these skilled artisans.
The founders strongly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor forces, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity in the products. For this reason, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are very welcome, provided they do not conflict with the existing vision and can withstand years of quality testing.
Unlike competitors, the individual stages of knife production are not handled by specialized groups of artisans, but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
High-quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, while handles are crafted from materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, or 'bosso' wood.
