Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory appears to be entirely independent of the trends that have dominated the world throughout its history. Its core principle is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.
The owners strongly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor forces, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity in the products. Therefore, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this Italian family is not closed to innovations. They are very welcome, provided they introduce elements consistent with the existing philosophy and can withstand years of quality testing.
Unlike competitors, the different stages of knife production are not carried out by specialized groups of workers, but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
