The philosophy of Berti Knives, a manufacturer of exceptional knives for various purposes, differs from this trend. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory appears to be entirely independent of the trends that have dominated the world over the years. Its core principle is a commitment to tradition, which is now upheld by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.
The founders firmly reject the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of their knives. Therefore, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed personnel. This does not mean, however, that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are very welcome, provided they do not conflict with the existing philosophy and can withstand years of quality testing.
