In complete opposition to this situation is the philosophy of Berti Knives, a manufacturer of exclusive knives for various purposes. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small workshop seems to be entirely detached from the trends that have dominated the world over the years. Its most important value is a commitment to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of these Italian artisans.
The owners strongly reject the idea of mass production by random labor force, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered products. Therefore, their work philosophy places special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any novelties. They are very welcome, provided they do not conflict with the current vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike the competition, the various stages of knife production are not carried out by specialized groups of workers, but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, and handles include materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, as well as 'bosso' wood.
