The original Japanese SHOTOH 5000FCD knife features an exceptional hardness of 61 HRC, perfect sharpness, confident and comfortable handling, and an attractive, aesthetic appearance. The blade consists of a FC61 core layer embedded within 48 layers of steel, giving it an extraordinarily striking Damascus pattern, unique to each line member. The tough, flexible, and sharp blade of the SHOTOH knife is made from a special steel alloy with a balanced carbon and chromium content. Knives marked with the FRIODUR symbol are distinguished by their particularly high quality, achieved through ice-hardening technology. This guarantees extreme durability and corrosion resistance. The Honbazuke grind gives them an exceptional sharpness comparable to that of a razor. The comfortable, ergonomic D-shaped handle is made from durable Pakka wood. The blade and handle of this Japanese precision knife are perfectly balanced, allowing for effortless slicing. With its thin, ultra-sharp Shotoh blade from the MIYABI 5000FCD line, you can cut and prepare fruits and vegetables without a trace of fatigue.
