Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop seems to be completely independent of the trends that have occurred worldwide over the years. Its core principle is a commitment to tradition, which is now being upheld by the fourth generation of Italian artisans.
The owners strongly oppose the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to a loss of identity in the products. Therefore, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed personnel. This does not mean, however, that this Italian family is closed to any innovations. They are highly desirable, provided they align with the existing vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized groups of workers but are often carried out from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
High-quality materials are used in production—blades are made of steel, and handles are crafted from materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, or 'bosso' wood.
