The philosophy of Berti Knives, a brand producing exclusive knives for various uses, is different. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop seems to be completely independent of the trends that have dominated the world throughout its history. Its most important value is attachment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these Italian artisans.
The owners strongly oppose the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered products. Therefore, their company's philosophy emphasizes careful personnel selection. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are very welcome, provided they do not conflict with the existing idea and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized sections of workers, but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The highest quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, and handles include materials such as bison, buffalo, deer horns, as well as 'bosso' wood.
