Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this family-run workshop seems entirely detached from the trends that have occurred worldwide over the years. Its key guiding principle is fidelity to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of these experienced craftsmen.

The founders of the brand firmly oppose the idea of mass production using random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the products made. Therefore, the company's philosophy places great emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this Italian family is not closed to any innovations. They are very much welcomed, provided they bring elements consistent with the existing idea and can withstand long-term quality tests.

Unlike the competition, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized sections of craftsmen but are often carried out from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials - the blades are made of steel, and the handles are made from buffalo, bison, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.

The brand owners encourage that their creations, although intended for everyday use, be treated with the appropriate respect that guarantees their longevity. Each of them is, after all, a small, unique artifact.
