The philosophy of Berti Knives, a manufacturer of exclusive knives for various purposes, stands in contrast to this state of affairs. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this family-run workshop seems completely detached from the trends that have prevailed worldwide throughout its years of operation. Its most important value is a commitment to tradition, which is currently upheld by the fourth generation of these experienced craftsmen.

The owners firmly reject the idea of mass production using random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the products offered. For this reason, the work philosophy of their workshop places exceptional emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any changes. Changes are very welcome, provided they introduce elements that do not conflict with the existing vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.

Unlike others, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized sections of craftsmen but are often carried out from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials - the blades are made of steel, and the handles are made from materials such as buffalo, bison, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.

The brand owners suggest that their knives, although intended for everyday use, should be treated with due respect, which guarantees their longevity. Each one is, after all, a small, unique artifact.
