Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory seems to remain completely detached from the trends that have emerged worldwide over the years. Its core value is fidelity to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of Italian artisans.
The owners strongly oppose the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity in the knives produced. For this reason, their company's philosophy emphasizes the importance of their staff. However, this Italian family is not closed to innovations. They are very much welcomed, provided they do not conflict with the existing vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike others, the various stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized groups of artisans, but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, and handles are made, among others, from bison, buffalo, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.
