Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop appears to be entirely independent of the trends that have dominated the industry over the years. Their main guiding principle is fidelity to tradition, which is now maintained by the fourth generation of Italian artisans.
The founders of the brand strongly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity in the knives they produce. Therefore, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed personnel. This does not mean, however, that this Italian family is closed to change. Changes are very welcome, provided they do not conflict with the existing idea and can withstand long-term quality tests.
