Contrary to this trend, the philosophy of Berti Knives is to produce exclusive knives for various uses. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop appears to be entirely independent of the trends that have emerged globally over the years. Its core principle is a strong attachment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.
The owners firmly reject the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity in the products. Therefore, their company's philosophy emphasizes the importance of the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that the Italian family is closed to change. Changes are very welcome, provided they incorporate elements consistent with the existing philosophy and can withstand years of quality testing.
