Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop appears to be completely independent of the trends that have occurred worldwide over the years. Its core value is loyalty to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these skilled artisans.

The founders strongly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered products. Therefore, their work philosophy places a special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any changes. Changes are very welcome, provided they do not conflict with the existing vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.

Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized artisan sections, but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
High-quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, while handles are made, among others, from bison, buffalo, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.

The owners encourage that their products, although intended for everyday use, be treated with the proper respect, which guarantees their longevity. Each one is a small, unique artifact.
