Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family-owned workshop appears to be completely independent of the trends that have emerged worldwide over the years. Its core value is fidelity to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these skilled artisans.
The founders strongly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered products. Therefore, their work philosophy places a special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this Italian family is not closed to change. Changes are highly welcomed, provided they do not conflict with the existing vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized artisan sections but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, while handles are made, among others, from bison, buffalo, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.
