The philosophy of Berti Knives, a manufacturer of exclusive knives for various purposes, is different. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop seems to be completely autonomous from the trends that have prevailed worldwide over the years. Its core principle is fidelity to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.

The founders of the brand strongly oppose the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered knives. Therefore, their company's work philosophy places a special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any novelties. They are most welcome, provided they introduce elements consistent with the existing philosophy and can withstand long-term quality tests.

Unlike others, the various stages of knife production are not carried out by specialized groups of workers but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
High-quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, and handles include materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, as well as 'bosso' wood.

The owners encourage that their products, although intended for everyday use, be treated with the proper respect, which guarantees their longevity. Each of them is, after all, a small, unique work of art.
