Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this family workshop seems to be entirely independent of the trends that have dominated the world throughout its history. Its core value is fidelity to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these skilled artisans.
The founders firmly reject the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the products. For this reason, their company's work philosophy places great emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are very much welcomed, provided they bring elements consistent with the existing philosophy and can withstand years of quality testing.
Unlike competitors, the individual stages of knife manufacturing are not handled by specialized groups of artisans, but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
High-quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, and handles are, among others, crafted from bison, buffalo, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.
