This is a unique soft cheese knife with a stainless steel blade.
The times we live in are characterized by increased consumption. As a result, the items we use every day are valued only for their utility. Over the years, we often lose the sentimental value they once held, replacing them with newer models.
Contrary to this trend, the philosophy of Berti Knives is to produce exclusive knives for various purposes. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory seems to remain completely detached from the trends that have dominated the industry over the years. Its core principle is fidelity to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.
The founders of the brand strongly oppose mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity in the products. Therefore, their company's philosophy emphasizes the importance of the employed personnel. This does not mean, however, that the Italian family is closed to change. Changes are welcome as long as they align with the existing vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike others, the various stages of knife production are not carried out by specialized groups of artisans but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The highest quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, while handles are crafted from materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, and 'bosso' wood.
The owners encourage treating their products with proper respect, despite their everyday use, which guarantees their durability over many years. Each piece is a small, one-of-a-kind artifact.
