Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop appears to be completely independent of the trends that have emerged worldwide over the years. Its most important value is fidelity to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of these skilled artisans.
The owners firmly reject the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered products. For this reason, their company's philosophy emphasizes the importance of the employed personnel. However, this Italian family is not closed to change. Changes are highly welcomed, provided they introduce elements consistent with the existing philosophy and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife production are not carried out by specialized groups of artisans but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique. Materials used are of the highest quality – blades are made of steel, while handles are crafted from materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, and 'bosso' wood.
