Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop seems entirely detached from the trends that have taken place worldwide over the years. Its core value is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these skilled artisans.
The founders strongly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor forces, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered knives. For this reason, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are very much welcomed, provided they introduce elements consistent with the existing vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike others, the individual stages of knife production are not carried out by specialized groups of workers, but are performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The highest quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, while handles are made from materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, and 'bosso' wood.
