Perfectly shaped in the classic and unique Pelikan style: the interplay of green shades and swirling pearl effects makes each Classic 200 Green-Marbled writing instrument special. Details such as the transparent, tinted ink window, the gilded decorative ring, and the classic beak-shaped clip complete the harmonious appearance of the fountain pen.
The origins of Pelikan date back to chemist Carl Hornemann, who on April 28, 1838, presented his clients with an offer for oil paints, watercolors, and the so-called Pelikan archive – the foundation of the company's production line, from which a globally renowned brand developed. The German manufacturer specializes in producing luxury writing accessories.
Decades of experience, specially trained staff, and the highest attention to detail at every stage of the manufacturing process ensure that each product is solidly made and unique. Depending on the model, the nibs are made of 14 or 18-karat gold. They are also sometimes rhodium-plated to achieve a silver shine. The embellishment on the nib is typical for each model.
