Description

An exciting part of the solid, 1000-piece puzzle series in a square box from Flame Tree, featuring powerful and popular works of art. This new puzzle will satisfy your need for a challenge with the modern masterpiece, Antagonia by Robert S Connett. This 1000-piece jigsaw is suitable for adults and children over 13 years old. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts. Finished size of the puzzle 735 x 510 mm / 29 x 20 inches.

Robert Steven Connett is a Californian artist who draws his current inspiration from biological forms – both flora and fauna, micro and macro, land and ocean dwellings – generating new variations as if painting with recombined DNA. He is a masterful painter of creatures from another world, harmoniously floating in intricate dreamscapes. Delicate geometric patterns form each new species, meticulously painted with illuminated details. Since childhood, Robert S. Connett has been fascinated by nature. And not just any kind of nature, but tiny worlds that quietly exist and remain undiscovered. This perhaps explains the artist’s equally fascinating worlds, which he conjures on canvas, often in intricate detail. These “subterranean worlds,” as Connett describes them, often consist of densely populated organisms, a blend of precise scientific observations and images drawn from the artist’s own mind.
