Every item produced by Sibania is absolutely unique in terms of the craftsmanship of each piece and the unparalleled technique that makes imitation difficult. These items are entirely modeled and hand-painted in our laboratory in the province of Vicenza (Italy). The clothes are thin sheets of porcelain with printed textures. These sheets are cut according to the dress model and then patiently applied to the statue's body. Hairstyles are also occasionally crafted by hand. On the "biscuit" terracotta, faces, clothes, and accessories are painted with non-toxic colors; the piece is finally subjected to further firing called "third fire." Any additional details, such as violin strings or tripod axes, are applied at this stage to the finished piece.

The highest quality material in the form of porcelain combined with manual work and unique designs is synonymous with the Sibania brand. From porcelain paste to production, the entire process is fully developed in the workshops in Isola Vicentina, where skilled craftsmen, designers, and painters meticulously refine each figurine and give each face its own expression. Inspired by the stylistic and technical features of the traditional craftsmanship of so-called Capodimonte porcelain, Sibania has been producing porcelain since 1980. Emerging from this tradition, characterized by exceptional manual skills, the company strives to introduce continuous innovations while maintaining unchanged craftsmanship and Italian artistry as a point of reference.

The manufactory places great importance on the centuries-old tradition of the artisan workshop with precise research into materials, and one of their goals is continuous innovation of products with respect for human health: using only non-toxic materials, free from lead, cadmium, and other compounds hazardous to health. After experiences with Capodimonte porcelain, it can proudly be said that since the mid-80s, Sibania has been a leading company in the production of porcelain dolls. Indeed, since the 80s, production has been based on their own models of biscuit components for the most important artisan workshops and porcelain doll manufacturing companies in Italy. In 1998, the company began producing figurines, small sculptures that mainly depict children. On one hand, constantly remembering the productive techniques of finishing and decoration acquired during Capodimonte experiences, and on the other, introducing new stylistic and technical methods. The unique and specific techniques used by Sibania, as well as the widespread use of manual skills, allow us to say that their works are unique.

These romantic figurines aim to be a representation of the world, a world of childhood, full of emotions and evoking feelings in those who come into contact with it; believing that the purity of porcelain makes it the most suitable material for the artistic representation of childhood innocence and purity. For the realization of these sculptures, traditional techniques are the starting point for a more innovative and contemporary representation, as the particular expression of the company's works is current and contemporary.
