Description
The origins of Pelikan trace back to chemist Carl Hornemann, who on April 28, 1838, presented his clients with an offer for oil paints, watercolors, and the so-called Pelikan archive – the foundation of the company's production line, from which the globally renowned brand developed. The German manufacturer specializes in producing exclusive writing instruments.
Decades of experience, specially trained employees, and the utmost care at every stage of the production process ensure that each product is solidly crafted and unique. Depending on the model, the nibs are made from 14 or 18-carat gold. Additionally, they are sometimes rhodium-plated to achieve a silver sheen. The decoration on the nib is typical for each model.
Writing instruments from the German brand Pelikan, with their distinctive resin body and pelican beak-shaped clip, have become a symbol of the finest taste and sophistication over the years.
