Souverän Tortoiseshell-White exudes warm purity through a combination of gold accents, white parts, and greenish-yellow elements. This series offers an extraordinary blend of colors. Different pigments in the material create a multicolored effect that shimmers across a wide range of tonal nuances. Originally made from cotton, the material took its name from these colorful effects. The white noble resin provides a successful colorful counterpart to the decorative swirls.
The origins of Pelikan date back to chemist Carl Hornemann, who on April 28, 1838, presented his clients with an offer for oil paints, watercolors, and the so-called Pelikan archive – the foundation of the company's production line, from which the well-known global brand developed. The German manufacturer specializes in producing luxury writing instruments.
Decades of experience, specially trained staff, and the highest attention to detail at every stage of the manufacturing process ensure that each product is solidly crafted and unique. Depending on the model, the nibs are made from 14 or 18-karat gold. They are also sometimes rhodium-plated to achieve a silver shine. The decoration on the nib is typical for each model.
