Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop seems to remain completely detached from the trends that have emerged over the years worldwide. Their main guiding principle is fidelity to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.

The owners strongly oppose the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the products. Therefore, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are very much welcomed, provided they do not conflict with the existing vision and can withstand years of quality testing.

Unlike others, the various stages of knife production are not carried out by specialized groups of workers but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
High-quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, and handles include materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, and 'bosso' wood.

The owners encourage that, despite being designed for everyday use, their knives should be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their durability for many years. Each one is a small, unique work of art.
