Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory seems entirely detached from the trends that have dominated the world over the years. Its core value is fidelity to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.

The founders firmly reject the idea of mass production by casual labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered knives. Therefore, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any changes. Changes are very welcome, provided they introduce elements consistent with the existing philosophy and can withstand long-term quality tests.

Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized groups of workers, but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
High-quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, and handles are among others made from bison, buffalo, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.

The owners encourage that, despite being designed for everyday use, their knives should be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their durability for many years. Each one is a small, unique work of art.
