Sagittarius is a winter, fiery, and shining sign. Its posture resembles one of these traits: attentive to what lies ahead, absorbing and assimilating its meaning. An innovative dress leaves the shoulders bare, not restricting sudden movements, and fits the body without burdening it. The ponytail resembles the iconography of a centaur, an image associated with the sign, half-man and half-horse, allowing the hair to fall in lively curls on the shoulders. 

The colors of Sagittarius are violet-blue, very vivid in the bust, and dark blue eyes indicate disarming honesty and a tendency to seek deep truths. Like other Fire signs, her dress is decorated with flowing lace, emphasizing the pointed shape of the skirt while slimming the silhouette.  The symbol strongly characterizes the figure: it is clearly visible on the bust and is marked at the bottom of the skirt, both front and back.  Finally, the base is red to remember the affiliation with the fire element.

Every item produced by Sibania is absolutely unique both in the craftsmanship of each piece and in the execution technique, which is unparalleled and difficult to imitate. These items are entirely modeled and hand-painted in our laboratory in Vicenza (Italy). The garments are thin porcelain sheets with printed textures. These sheets are cut according to the dress pattern and then patiently applied to the sculpture’s torso. Hairstyles are also occasionally handcrafted. Faces, clothing, and accessories are painted with non-toxic colors on the “biscuit” terracotta; Finally, the piece undergoes further firing called “third fire”. Additional details, such as violin strings or stand supports, are added at this stage to the finished piece.

The brand places great importance on the evolving tradition of the artisan workshop, with detailed research into materials. Based on experiences with Capodimonte porcelain, it can be proudly stated that since the mid-1980s, Sibania has been a leading company in the production of porcelain dolls. Indeed, since the 1980s, production has been based on its own biscuit component models for the most important artisan workshops and porcelain doll manufacturers in Italy. In 1998, the company began producing figurines, small sculptures mainly depicting children. On one hand, they continuously remember the technical finishing and decorative techniques learned from Capodimonte, and on the other, they introduce new stylistic and technical methods. The unique and specific techniques used by Sibania, as well as the widespread use of manual skills, make their works truly one-of-a-kind.
