Leo is a sign of the sun, warm and regal. Its pose reflects its character: elegantly seated with legs to one side, holding an outstretched hand forward on its legs, and head held high towards the world that admires it. The soft, baroque dress it wears accentuates its figure, starting from a medallion on the chest resembling a radiant sun. Thick hair falls onto its shoulders and surrounds the face like a mane, while the gold headband symbolizes the crown of the zodiac king. 

Leo's colors are gold and ochre, and here they are almost yellow mustard, like a majestic cat, with hair tending towards summer wheat blonde. Like other fire signs in the collection, Leo's dress is decorated with a radiantly twisted lace with a gold medallion.  The symbol of the sign resembles this last detail, from which a long tail begins, encircling the character's shoulders.  Finally, the base is red to remember its belonging to the fire element.

Every item produced by Sibania is absolutely unique both in the craftsmanship of each piece and in the technique used, which is unparalleled and makes imitation difficult. These items are entirely modeled and hand-painted in our laboratory in Vicenza (Italy). The clothing consists of thin porcelain sheets with printed textures. These sheets are cut according to the dress pattern and then patiently applied to the sculpture's torso. Hairstyles are also occasionally handcrafted. On the "biscuit" terracotta, faces, clothing, and accessories are painted with non-toxic colors; the piece is ultimately subjected to further firing called "third fire." Any additional details, such as violin strings or stand components, are added at this stage to the finished piece.

Based on experience with Capodimonte porcelain, it can be proudly stated that since the mid-1980s, Sibania has been a leading company in the production of porcelain dolls. Indeed, since the 1980s, production has been based on its own biscuit component models for the most important artisan workshops and porcelain doll manufacturers in Italy. In 1998, the company began producing figurines, small sculptures mainly depicting children. On one hand, they continuously remember the productive finishing and decorating techniques learned during Capodimonte experiences, and on the other, they introduce new stylistic and technical methods. The unique and specific techniques used by Sibania, as well as the widespread use of manual skills, allow us to say that their works are truly one of a kind.
