Deep red gives Souverän a bright and warm appearance. The extraordinary color variation evokes a beautiful sunset and invites a stroll down memory lane. Available for a limited time only. The slightly translucent casing is made of cellulose acetate and shimmers in light brown and orange. Traditionally, the cap and all other parts of the casing are made of high-quality resin.
The origins of Pelikan date back to chemist Carl Hornemann, who on April 28, 1838, presented his clients with an offer for oil paints, watercolors, and the so-called Pelikan archive – the foundation of the company's production line, from which the well-known global brand developed. The German manufacturer specializes in producing luxury writing instruments.
Decades of experience, specially trained staff, and the utmost care at every stage of the manufacturing process ensure that each product is solidly made and unique. Depending on the model, the nibs are made of 14 or 18-karat gold. They are also sometimes rhodium-plated to achieve a silver shine. The decoration on the nib is typical for each model.
German Pelikan writing instruments with their characteristic resin body and a clip shaped like a pelican's beak have become symbols of the finest taste and sophistication over the years.
