The deep red gives Souverän a bright and warm appearance. This unusual color variation evokes a beautiful sunset and invites a stroll down memory lane. Available only for a limited time. The slightly translucent casing is made of cellulose acetate and shimmers in bright brown and orange. Traditionally, the cap and all other parts of the casing are made of high-quality resin.
The origins of Pelikan date back to chemist Carl Hornemann, who on April 28, 1838, presented his clients with an offer for oil paints, watercolors, and the so-called Pelikan archive – the foundation of the company's production line, from which the globally renowned brand developed. The German manufacturer specializes in producing luxury writing instruments.
Decades of experience, specially trained employees, and the utmost care at every stage of the production process ensure that each product is solidly crafted and unique. Depending on the model, the nibs are made of 14 or 18-carat gold. Additionally, they are sometimes rhodium-plated to achieve a silver sheen. The decoration on the nib is typical for each model.
