Description
The origins of Pelikan date back to chemist Carl Hornemann, who on April 28, 1838, presented his clients with an offer for oil paints, watercolors, and the so-called Pelikan archive – which formed the foundation of the company's production line, from which the well-known global brand developed. The German manufacturer specializes in producing luxury writing instruments.
Decades of experience, specially trained staff, and the highest attention to detail at every stage of the manufacturing process ensure that each product is solidly made and unique. Depending on the model, the nibs are made from 14 or 18-karat gold. Additionally, they are sometimes rhodium-plated to achieve a silver shine. The decoration on the nib is typical for each model.
German Pelikan brand writing instruments with their characteristic resin bodies and a clip shaped like a pelican's beak have become symbols of the finest taste and sophistication over the years.
