The series of writing instruments matching the Edelstein 2019 Star Ruby Ink. Available for a limited time only. This beautiful new color, in a burgundy-pink shade, is inspired by the gemstone “Star Ruby”. The new color-coordinated writing instruments feature a special crystal effect that makes each pen shine and sparkle in the light. All pens are unique, and now, thanks to this new glossy effect, they offer an exceptional and brilliant appearance.
The origins of Pelikan date back to chemist Carl Hornemann, who on April 28, 1838, presented his clients with an offer of oil paints, watercolors, and the so-called Pelikan archive – the foundation of the company's production line, from which the well-known global brand developed. The German manufacturer specializes in producing luxury writing instruments.
Decades of experience, specially trained staff, and the highest attention to detail at every stage of the manufacturing process ensure that each product is solidly made and unique. Depending on the model, the nibs are made from 14 or 18-karat gold. They are also sometimes rhodium-plated to achieve a silver shine. The decoration on the nib is typical for each model.
German Pelikan writing instruments with their characteristic resin body and a clip shaped like a pelican’s beak have become symbols of the finest taste and sophistication over the years.
