Description

An exciting part of the solid, 1000-piece puzzle series in a square box from Flame Tree, featuring powerful and popular works of art. This new puzzle will satisfy your challenge craving with the charming William Morris Gallery: The Golden Lily. This 1000-piece jigsaw is suitable for adults and children over 13 years old. Not suitable for children under 3 due to small parts. The finished puzzle size is 735 x 510 mm / 29 x 20 inches. It now includes an A4 poster for informational purposes.

William Morris was a remarkable figure with many talents, being an architect, writer, social activist, artist, and, together with his Kelmscott Press, an important figure in the Arts and Crafts movement. Many of us probably know him best through his magnificent furniture and textile designs, intricately weaving natural motifs in a highly stylized, two-dimensional manner inspired by medieval conventions.

Unique titles and a very wide range of authors are synonymous with the Flame Tree Publishing brand.

“The aim… is to wipe the dust of everyday life from our souls,” Pablo Picasso.

“Flame Tree Publishing has been wiping the dust of everyday life for over twenty years, creating illustrated books since 1992, art calendars since 1998, and illustrated e-books since 2009. Their extensive list includes powerful and eloquent artists such as Erté and Alphonse Mucha, complemented by extensive licenses in an award-winning line of calendars, including collaborations with Tate, V&A, RSC, RA, and many others.

Thanks to a wide range of authors, editors, and writers—from Vladimir Ashkenazy, Steve Hackett, John Howe, Sir George Martin, Brian May, Paul du Noyer, Paco Peña, Stanley Sadie—the company strives to create illustrated projects that are affordable, useful, and beautiful. In addition to printed titles, their exceptional selection of practical cookbooks, music books, pop culture, and lifestyle titles is increasingly available in digital formats. The producer believes that well-reviewed, thoughtfully curated content should be available in many formats to meet their readers’ needs.
