White resin parts, along with the gold-plated nib and trims, serve as a complementary addition, ensuring a balanced harmony between traditional and contemporary shades and hues. The 200 series is available as a fountain pen and a ballpoint pen with a clip and rings coated in 24-karat gold. The fountain pen features a gold-plated stainless steel nib and is available in four nib sizes, all designed to meet individual writing style preferences.
The history of Pelikan dates back to chemist Carl Hornemann, who on April 28, 1838, presented his clients with an offer for oil paints, watercolors, and the so-called Pelikan archive – the foundation of the company's production line, from which the well-known global brand developed. The German manufacturer specializes in producing exclusive writing instruments.
Decades of experience, specially trained staff, and the highest attention to detail at every stage of the manufacturing process ensure that each product is solidly made and unique. Depending on the model, the nibs are made from 14 or 18-karat gold. They are also sometimes rhodium-plated to achieve a silver shine. The decoration on the nib is typical for each model.
German Pelikan writing instruments, with their characteristic resin body and a clip shaped like a pelican's beak, have become symbols of the finest taste and sophistication over the years.
