MARIONI is a family story

The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has taken on its current corporate character. Starting from ceramic materials, product lines for interior furnishings were gradually developed, with particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are connected to creative details and manual craftsmanship.

After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric, which anticipated success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxury products referencing the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that led the brand to face new digital challenges, culminating in the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s firstborn, joined the company as head of communication and quality to mark further generational evolution. In this way, the company reaches the present with a wealth of fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
