This image is from the abridged version of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865), “The Nursery Alice” (1889/90). The story was adapted by the author for younger children. The fantasy world on the other side of the rabbit hole has influenced literary stories, artworks, music, film, and crossed the boundaries of the magical world, reminding us that the madness and creativity of the creator have no limits.
