Kew Gardens is a world-renowned center of botanical and mycological knowledge. Kew has a gallery dedicated to the works of the extraordinary Victorian artist Marianne North, who had a keen eye for botanical details. She set out in 1871 on her artistic journey through the world's flora. North’s trip to South Africa was one of her last, alongside visits to Seychelles and Chile.
