Every time I came to them, I directed my first steps to the attic, which was led up by a winding staircase. Under the weight of my feet, the tired wood made a soft moaning creak. I have always felt that a pre-war home has its own history and "soul". In the middle of the attic there was a tiny room, made of raw wooden beams, stuck with straw braids. I lay on a large, comfortable bed and began to contemplate the wooden wrinkles of time, I admired their hollows, cracks, surrounded by openwork holes of bark beetles. These memories still live in me and stimulate my imagination ...
