We would like to present to you a painting by Anna Wilk, from the series “Macro-abstracts”. A characteristic feature of the painter is her extraordinary precision. Anna Wilk is a graduate of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Silesia. She has received numerous awards for her work in prestigious competitions. Notable awards include:
-Main Award named after Bolesław Barbacki, ZPAP Salon Nowy Sącz 2018
-Distinction from the Artistic Journal “Format” from Wrocław
-Starost of Częstochowa Award for the series of paintings titled “Fe2O3”, M. Michalik Competition in Częstochowa 2018
-Main Award of the Director of the Museum in Nowy Sącz in the competition “Treasures of Lesser Poland” 2014
-Research scholarship from the Rector of the University of Silesia for the best student, 2011/2012
-Third place in the First Nationwide Young Polish Art Biennale under the slogan: “Diploma – the beginning of the journey”. Patronage: Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków 2011
Anna Wilk’s work has received recognition from art critics. An article titled “About the screw that became the nail of the program” dedicated to her painting was published in the prestigious art magazine “Format”. (Art magazine Format, no. 79-80, p. 49)
Her paintings have been exhibited in renowned art galleries at numerous exhibitions nationwide and internationally.
