Plants can be planted directly in the planter or in an additional insert placed inside the planter. Inserts are available for all planter models, and their size is entirely sufficient for most plants. These inserts, along with the plant, can be easily removed from the pot—they are equipped with handles. This allows for very simple composition changes and simplifies plant care tasks, such as repotting. Using inserts also ensures the immediate replacement of a sick or dried plant with a new one, previously planted in a separate insert and maintained as a reserve. This is significant in representative places where greenery should always be attractive.

Garden or terrace planters (except for the Parga model) can be purchased with wheels, allowing for easy movement. In this case, plants should be planted in the insert to prevent the planter from being too heavy. The wheels have non-marking tires and are placed in a special recess at the bottom of the planter—they are practically invisible.

RESISTANCE AND DURABILITY

The planters are made from glass-vinyl ester and polyester composites. This is a technology used and proven in the production of sea yachts. They can be used both indoors and outdoors. They are perfect as garden planters, terrace planters, indoor planters, and as elements of small architecture on streets and in parks.

Resistant to water, high heat, and severe frost (if water does not accumulate in the planter), sunlight, exhaust fumes, air pollution, and biological factors. They are also very strong and durable. In this regard, they significantly surpass ceramic planters—they cannot be broken or chipped, as well as steel and wooden ones, which degrade. The surface of the planters is perfectly smooth and glossy, which significantly reduces the accumulation of dirt.

If the pots are to remain outside during winter, there is a risk of the root ball freezing in some plant species during severe frosts. In such cases, an insulating layer made of, for example, styrofoam or bubble wrap should be placed inside against the walls of the pot when planting the plant. It should be about 10 centimeters thick.

If the plants planted in inserts are very large, the pots may be overturned by the wind. This can be prevented by placing additional weight inside the pot, such as stones, sandbags, etc.

It looks very nice if the soil in the pot is covered with a decorative layer of gravel, pebbles, or bark. In the case of garden pots, this will also limit weed growth and prevent the soil from drying out. When using inserts, the decorative layer will mask their edges, making them completely invisible.

LARGE POTS

When choosing the type and size of pots, it is important to consider whether large pots, especially XL and XXL, can be brought to the planned location. Sometimes the dimensions of doors and windows can be a limitation.

Pots produced by KAMA flower are very lightweight and extremely durable. This is due to the proper design, materials used, and technology. The weight of S-sized pots ranges from 3 to 4 kg depending on the shape, M-sized from 5 to 7 kg, L-sized from 7 to 9 kg, XL from 18 to 24 kg, and XXL from 26 to 34 kg. Such lightweight pots can be easily transported and placed anywhere. It won't be difficult to even lift them onto a roof or building terrace if they are too large to be carried through a staircase.

Pots filled directly with soil, without using inserts, can be very heavy. The density of the soil is about 1.5 kg/liter, so the weight of filled XXL pots can be as much as 1000 to 1500 kg. It is important to choose the right place to set them, as moving them later can be very difficult. It is also necessary to check if the terrace, veranda, or balcony can withstand such a load.

Pots (except for the Parga model) can be equipped with wheels upon request. The wheels are intended for hard surfaces and significantly facilitate cleaning rooms. If this option is chosen, plants must be planted in an insert, not directly in the pot, as it will be too heavy.
