The tradition of creating pewterware in Italy dates back to the early Middle Ages. This craft was primarily practiced by residents of Lombardy. It was here, in 1954, that Bruno Cosi, together with his nephew Sergio Tabellini, opened his small artisan workshop. He initially focused on producing pewter tableware as well as various decorative items. The exceptional craftsmanship and artistic eye of Bruno Cosi made the products from this modest shop quickly gain popularity. Over the years, the small workshop transformed into a large manufacturing company, and today, it is managed by the descendants of Cosi and Tabellini – Sergio’s children. The company still maintains a family character and continues to emphasize handcrafted production methods that blend craftsmanship and art.
