However, there is one who has been creating unique decorations from this alloy for over 60 years. It is the Italian brand Cosi Tabellini Art of Pewter. Known not only in Europe, it impresses with its unconventional designs. It breaks the mold and delivers stunning artifacts that add a touch of vintage and Art Nouveau to any interior.
Cosi Tabellini Art of Pewter – over 60 years of tradition
The tradition of creating pewter products in Italy dates back to the early Middle Ages. It is a craft primarily specialized by the inhabitants of Lombardy. And it was here, in 1954, that Bruno Cosi, along with his nephew – Sergio Tabellini – opened his small artisan workshop. He began creating primarily pewter tableware, as well as various decorations. The exceptional craftsmanship and artistic eye ensured that the products from the modest shop quickly gained popularity. Over the years, the small workshop transformed into a large manufacturing facility, and today the company is managed by the descendants of Cosi and Tabellini – Sergio's children. The company still retains its family character and continues to focus on handmade production methods that border on craft and art. This is why their unique decorations are appreciated worldwide.
